Ayer Keroh Recreational Forest

Anyone who calls the Ayer Keroh Recreational “Forest” a forest deserves to be walloped.

The whole place is nowhere near to being a forest. It’s more of a hybrid between a botanical garden and a playground for kids with a smattering of village atmosphere.

They had a village library, a few swings, rope climber, dinosaurs, tigers and turtles (all toys to be climbed by kids, which we became 🙂 ). There were a generous dose of fables played out including the hare and the tortoise, the crow and the pot and something about crocodile and the fox.

Thankfully, the park authorities had better sense than to call it a forest. They wisely named it the botanical gardens. Kudos to them!
